Lemon Tree Hotels moves up on signing second property in Rajasthan

Lemon Tree Hotels is currently trading at Rs. 93.85, up by 0.90 points or 0.97% from its previous closing of Rs. 92.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 93.99 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 94.85 and Rs. 93.67 respectively. So far 96950 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 103.30 on 01-Dec-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 63.05 on 06-Jul-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 94.84 and Rs. 92.75 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7363.93 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 23.61%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 35.10% and 41.29% respectively.

Lemon Tree Hotels has signed second property in Udaipur, Rajasthan. The property is expected to be operational by Q4FY2024 and shall be managed by Carnation Hotels, a wholly-owned subsidiary and the management arm of Lemon Tree Hotels.

The property will feature 48 well-appointed rooms, banquet facilities, a restaurant, a bar, meeting rooms, a banquet hall, a fitness center and other public areas. Udaipur is often referred to as the Venice of the East on account of the seven turquoise lakes that dot the city. Bound by the verdant Aravalli hills, Udaipur holds a variety of attractions for its visitors including history, culture, scenic locations, opulent Rajput-era palaces and vibrant markets. The attractions have also provided the best canvas for fairy tale weddings in the city.

The Udaipur Airport is about 15 kms from the property while the Railway Station is just 3 kms away. The property is connected by both public and private transport from all major cities in India and is just 9 kms away from the Fateh Sagar Lake. 

Lemon Tree Hotels is India’s largest hotel chain in the mid-priced hotel sector, and the third largest overall, on the basis of controlling interest in owned and leased rooms.
