L&T trades higher as its construction arm secures orders for Power Transmission & Distribution Business

Larsen & Toubro is currently trading at Rs. 2157.35, up by 10.35 points or 0.48% from its previous closing of Rs. 2147.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2151.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2170.00 and Rs. 2151.15 respectively. So far 10277 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2297.30 on 20-Jan-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1456.80 on 20-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2219.95 and Rs. 2122.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 304596.10 crore.

The Institutions holding in the company stood at 63.28%, while Non-Institutions held 36.69% in the company.

Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) construction arm -- L&T construction has secured multiple domestic EPC order for its Power Transmission & Distribution (PT&D) Business. The PT&D Business has secured orders to establish 765kV and 400kV gas insulated substations, to serve as pooling substations, in the Khavda RE zone. Another upcoming RE zone is in the Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh where gigawatts of solar and wind energy generation projects are being developed.

The Business has won an order to establish 765kV gas insulated and air insulated substation bays at the pooling and remote end substations. The combined scope of these substation packages includes more than 7 km of gas insulated bus ducts, bus reactors and protection & automation systems. Further, the PT&D Business has also bagged orders to develop distribution infrastructure in two circles of Rajasthan’s prominent discom.
