L&T rises as its transportation infrastructure business secures various orders from prestigious clients

Larsen & Toubro is currently trading at Rs. 1833.95, up by 8.60 points or 0.47% from its previous closing of Rs. 1825.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1839.40 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1842.80 and Rs. 1827.40 respectively. So far 28681 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2078.20 on 18-Jan-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1306.40 on 19-Apr-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1842.80 and Rs. 1753.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 257668.29 crore.

Larsen & Toubro’s (L&T) Transportation Infrastructure business has secured various orders from prestigious clients. The Business has secured an order from the Tamil Nadu Road Infrastructure Development Corporation to construct the Chennai Peripheral Ring Road EPC-02 Package of Section-11 in the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) mode. The scope of work broadly includes constructing a six-lane greenfield highway of 12.80 kms with flexible pavement, two lane service roads and paved shoulders on both sides of the carriageway, at-grade Intersections, major/minor bridges, vehicular/light vehicular/ small vehicular underpasses, and culverts followed by maintenance for 7 years.

The Railways business unit along with the Substation business unit of the Power Transmission and Distribution Business has won an order from the Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRCL).

This Engineering, Procurement Et Construction (EPC) order involves Design, Supply, Installation, Testing and Commissioning 750 Volt DC Third Rail Traction System, Receiving Substations including High Voltage Cabling from Grid Substations, 33kV Cable Network, ASS, TSS Et SCADA System for Corridors 1 and 2 of the Agra Metro Rail Project at Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India. The 36-month project will be funded by the European Investment Bank (EIB).
