Kabra Extrusiontechnik shines as its battery division inks pact with Hero Electric

Kabra Extrusiontechnik is currently trading at Rs. 479.95, up by 66.80 points or 16.17 % from its previous closing of Rs. 413.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 411.15 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 495.75 and Rs. 409.85 respectively. So far 46961 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 566.40 on 20-Jan-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 249.25 on 22-Nov-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 495.75 and Rs. 409.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1545.59 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 60.45% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.49% and 39.06% respectively.

Kabra Extrusiontechnik’s battery division -- Battrixx has inked a partnership for developing ‘Made In India’ Lithium-ion batteries with Hero Electric, the largest E2W company in India. Conceptualized and designed in-house with Hero’s R&D team, these are the latest technology batteries electrifying Hero Electric’s entire e-scooter range. This partnership supports battery safety advancements, reliability, and performance and fully supports Hero's aggressive production line-up to meet the rising e2W demand.

Battrixx will power Hero Electric Scooters, thanks to its new advanced cell chemistry pack designs. This will prove to be a very strategic partnership for the development and manufacturing of advanced cell chemistry battery packs. The target is to supply 300,000 battery packs and chargers in the next financial year based on Hero Electric’s projections. These batteries comply with the latest AIS 156 amendments that cover IP67 Thermal Protection, A/V Warning Systems, smart BMS, and Live Data Tracking with IoT. Battrixx comes with an intelligent battery with two-way communication between the vehicle, controller, battery, and charger.
