Larsen & Toubro shines on reporting 36% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

Larsen & Toubro is currently trading at Rs. 2649.50, up by 87.55 points or 3.42% from its previous closing of Rs. 2561.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2613.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2670.00 and Rs. 2590.00 respectively. So far 42217 shares were traded on the counter.

Total income of the company increased by 34.21% at Rs 27788.77 crore for Q1FY24 as compared Rs 20779.54 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 35.90% rise in net profit at Rs 3,116.12 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2023 as compared to Rs 2,293.01 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 34.15% at Rs 49,027.93 crore for Q1FY24 as compared Rs 36547.92 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
