Indian Telephone Industries Q4 net profit jumps 77.54% at Rs 357.38 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 357.38 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 201.29 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 77.54 per cent. Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 9.86 per cent at Rs 1,141.50 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,266.32 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 13.14 per cent to Rs 944.23 crore from Rs 1,087.10 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 248.38 per cent at Rs 225.54 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 64.74 crore). Operating Profit surged by 10.07 per cent to Rs 197.27 crore as against Rs 179.22 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 22.12 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 55.78 per cent y-o-y to Rs 52.39 crore
