Indian Hotels Company rises on signing two new hotels in Ayodhya

The Indian Hotels Company is currently trading at Rs. 338.25, up by 1.60 points or 0.48% from its previous closing of Rs. 336.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 336.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 339.90 and Rs. 331.10 respectively. So far 92876 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 348.70 on 06-Oct-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 207.25 on 20-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 339.90 and Rs. 326.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 48059.22 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 38.19%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 45.83% and 15.98% respectively.

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed two new hotels in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Both, Vivanta and Ginger branded hotels are Greenfield projects.

The complex with the two hotels, sprawled over five acres, is strategically located at a comfortable driving distance from the upcoming Ayodhya International Airport. The 100-room Vivanta will offer an all-day diner, large banqueting spaces, and recreational facilities including a pool, and health club. The 120-room Ginger will house Qmin, the all-day diner serving local and global cuisines, meeting rooms, and a fitness centre.

With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 19 hotels across Taj, SeleQtions, Vivanta, and Ginger brands across Uttar Pradesh including nine under development.
