HIGHLIGHTS:
Nifty futures closed at 17617 on a positive note with 35.12% decrease in the open interest indicating Short Covering
Nifty Futures closed at a premium of 12 points compared to the previous day premium of 8 points
BankNifty closed at 39075 on positive note with 33.39% decrease in open interest indicating Short Covering
BankNifty Futures closed at a premium of 37 points compared to the previous day premium of 78 points.
FII's were Sellers in Index Futures to the tune of 1329 and were Buyers in Index Options to the tune of 708 crores, Sellers in the Stock Futures to the tune of 2239 crores. Net Sellers in the derivative segment to the tune of 553 crores.
India VIX index is at 18.43 v/s 18.91. Nifty ATM call option IV is currently 16.49 whereas Nifty ATM Put option IV is quoting at 17.44
