HIGHLIGHTS:

Nifty futures closed at 18147 on a negative note with 7.25% decrease in the open interest indicating Long Unwinding.

Nifty Futures closed at a premium of 64 points compared to the previous day premium of 66 points

BankNifty closed at 41313 on negative note with 2.41% increase in open interest indicating Short Build Up.

BankNifty Futures closed at a premium of 166 points compared to the previous day premium of 188 points.

FII's were Sellers in Index Futures to the tune of 629 and were Buyers in Index Options to the tune of 2201 crores, Sellers in the Stock Futures to the tune of 1224 crores. Net Buyers in the derivative segment to the tune of 370 crores

In cash Segment, FII Bought 1436 CR & DII Sold 1378 CR

India VIX index is at 16.75 v/s 16.13.ATM CE IV 14.53 & PE IV 16.81
