IDFC Mutual Fund has filed offer document with SEBI to launch a closed ended debt scheme named ‘IDFC Fixed Term Plan - Series 196 to 198. The New Fund Offer price is Rs 10 per unit. Entry load and Exit load will be nil. The scheme offers growth and dividend options for investment and seeks to collect a Minimum Target Amount of Rs 10 crore.

 

The performance of the scheme will be benchmarked by Crisil  Liquid  Fund  Index for scheme having  maturity  of up  to 3 months (from the date of allotment including date of allotment); Crisil Short-Term Bond Fund Index for scheme having maturity of more than 3 months up to 36 months (from the date of allotment including date of allotment); Crisil Composite Bond Fund Index for scheme having maturity of more than 36 months up to 192 months (from the date of allotment including date of allotment). The minimum application amount is Rs 5000 and multiples of Rs.10 thereafter.

 

The investment objective of the scheme is to generate income by investing in a portfolio of debt and money market instruments maturing on or before the maturity of each Series(s) under the scheme.
