ICICI Bank rises on signing agreement for investment in NARCL

ICICI Bank is currently trading at Rs. 677.75, up by 1.20 points or 0.18% from its previous closing of Rs. 676.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 675.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 684.70 and Rs. 670.80 respectively. So far 615093 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 859.70 on 25-Oct-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 531.00 on 19-Apr-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 701.00 and Rs. 642.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 471368.30 crore.

The Institutions holding in the company stood at 89.29% and Non-Institutions held 10.70%.

ICICI Bank has signed an agreement on March 10, 2022 for investment in National Asset Reconstruction Company (NARCL). NARCL is an asset reconstruction company. Equity investment would be in tranches with first tranche of equity investment of Rs 70.45 crore expected to be completed by March 31, 2022. Total cash consideration of up to Rs 137.50 crore in tranches to acquire up to 5.0% equity holding in NARCL.
