Hero MotoCorp moves higher on reporting 10% rise in total sales in February

Hero MotoCorp is currently trading at Rs. 2465.75, up by 33.00 points or 1.36% from its previous closing of Rs. 2432.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2449.70 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2470.20 and Rs. 2441.80 respectively. So far 6898 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 2939.35 on 18-Aug-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2148.00 on 08-Mar-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2505.90 and Rs. 2402.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 49140.59 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 34.77%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 54.77% and 10.45% respectively.

Hero MotoCorp reported a 10 per cent year-on-year increase in total wholesales at 3,94,460 units in February. The company had dispatched 3,58,254 units in the same month last year. In the domestic market, its sales rose to 3,82,317 units last month from 3,31,462 units in the same month last year. Exports, however, dipped to 12,143 units from 26,792 units in the year-ago period.
