The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 17.63 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 17.87 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 1.34 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 24.27 per cent at Rs 157.59 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 126.81 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 27.62 per cent to Rs 133.44 crore from Rs 104.56 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 42.22 per cent at Rs 2.86 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 4.95 crore). Operating Profit surged by 8.49 per cent to Rs 24.15 crore as against Rs 22.26 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 12.71 per cent in March quarter. Interest grew by 104.35 per cent y-o-y to Rs 4.23 crore, while Taxation decreased by 48.54 per cent at Rs 2.64 crore (Mar'21 Rs 5.13 crore).
