Godrej Properties gains on planning to acquire land for luxury residential project in Kolkata
Godrej Properties is currently trading at Rs. 1514.15, up by 6.65 points or 0.44% from its previous closing of Rs. 1507.50 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs. 1513.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1515.85 and Rs. 1505.00 respectively. So far 1451 shares were traded on the counter.
The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1530.75 on 01-Aug-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1005.70 on 29-Mar-2023.
Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1515.85 and Rs. 1418.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 41912.89 crore.
The promoters holding in the company stood at 58.48%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 31.78% and 9.74% respectively.
Godrej Properties (GPL) is planning to acquire a 7.44 acre land parcel at New Alipore, a premium residential locality in Kolkata from West Bengal Housing Infrastructure Development Corporation, having been declared as the highest bidder in its e-auction. GPL will develop this land parcel as a luxury group housing project. New Alipore has an established physical and social infrastructure. The location offers excellent connectivity to all major social and commercial hubs of Kolkata city.
