Godrej Consumer Products rises on acquiring FMCG business of Raymond Consumer Care

Godrej Consumer Products is currently trading at Rs. 951.10, up by 7.15 points or 0.76% from its previous closing of Rs. 943.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 944.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 955.00 and Rs. 941.90 respectively. So far 26836 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 994.45 on 24-Apr-2023 and a 52 week low of Rs. 708.60 on 17-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 956.20 and Rs. 920.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 97269.29 crore.

Godrej Consumer Products (GCPL) has completed acquisition of FMCG business of Raymond Consumer Care (RCCL) by way of a slump sale. RCCL is a leading player in the deodorants and sexual wellness categories in India. The cost of acquisition is Rs 2825 crore.
