Gati reported a weak set of numbers for the quarters Q4FY21.

Gati Limited reported total revenue from operations at ₹406.6 Crores, up by 16% YoY from ₹350.09 crores in Q4FY20. Express distribution and supply chain reported very good revenue growth of 19.6% at ₹335.8 Crores as compared to ₹280.7 crores in Q4FY2020. Company reported Loss before tax for the quarter at ₹10.9 crores in Q4FY21 as compared to loss of 39.5 crores in Q4FY20. Loss after tax for the quarter at ₹173.4 crores in Q4FY21 as compared to loss of  ₹70.6 crores in Q4FY20 which is below market expectation. Loss after tax for Q4FY21 includes an exceptional component of ₹172.8 crores for fair value of the assets sold during the year and proposed to be sold. Company reported the EPS for the quarter at ₹-13.48 per share and -5.66 for the year 2021.

Another weak set of numbers reported by the Gati limited, company struggle to reach the precovid levels and even difficult times ahead as we have seen the 2nd wave lockdown are continuing in the majority of states. Company reported another washout year and still no sign of improvement after the change in promoter to all Cargo. We don’t expect any turnaround in business in the next couple of quarters. We have a neutral view on Gati Limited.
