FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per May 06 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Friday’s data were net sellers in equity segment, while net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 5634.45 crore against gross selling of Rs 7194.69 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1560.24 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 705.74 crore with gross sales of Rs 586.24 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 119.50 crore in debt.

In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 3.66 crore against gross selling of Rs 3.06 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 0.60 crore in hybrid segment.
