FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per July 28 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in equity segment, while they were net buyers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14765.88 crore against gross selling of Rs 16015.70 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1249.82 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 685.63 crore with gross sales of Rs 426.88 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 258.75 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 7.66 crore against gross selling of Rs 15.46 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 7.80 crore in hybrid segment.
