FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per January 5 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Thursday’s data were net sellers in both equity and debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 4512.26 crore against gross selling of Rs 6973.37 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 2461.11 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 135.96 crore against gross selling of Rs 569.41 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 433.45 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 0.59 crore against gross selling of Rs 9.18 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 8.59 crore in hybrid segment.
