FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 26 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Friday’s data were net buyers in equity segment, while net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 9220.18 crore against gross selling of Rs 6859.01 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2361.17 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 435.90 crore against gross selling of Rs 719.65 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 283.75 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 3.24 crore against gross selling of Rs 7.37 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 4.13 crore in hybrid segment.
