FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 21 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Monday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 12347.08 crore against gross selling of Rs 11772.23 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 574.85 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1721.26 crore with gross sales of Rs 334.41 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1386.85 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 35.21 crore against gross selling of Rs 14.31 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 20.90 crore in hybrid segment.
