FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 04 data: NSDL
The FIIs as per Friday's data were net buyers in equity segment, while they were net sellers in debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 11524.83 crore against gross selling of Rs 11308.19 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 216.64 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 616.56 crore with gross sales of Rs 782.60 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 166.04 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 5.38 crore against gross selling of Rs 31.33 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 25.95 crore in hybrid segment.
