FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 02 data: NSDL

The FIIs as per Tuesday’s data were net buyers in both equity and debt segment, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 19375.96 crore against gross selling of Rs 14029.06 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 5346.90 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 451.61 crore against gross selling of Rs 62.85 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 388.76 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 6.24 crore against gross selling of Rs 10.91 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 4.67 crore in hybrid segment.
