“USDINR spot closed flat, near 74.20 levels as RBI absorbed the $ inflows. Weak US Dollar Index and strong equity markets had little impact on the pair due to central bank intervention. USDINR may remain in a listless phase ahead of Jackson Hole event on Thursday and Friday. We expect a range of 73.90 to 74.40 levels over the near term.”
