The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 40.04 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2020 as compared to Rs 27.67 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 44.71 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose moderately by 8.91 per cent at Rs 295.67 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 271.48 crore in the corresponding period last year. During October-December quarter, operating expenses increased by 3.50 per cent to Rs 245.45 crore from Rs 237.14 crore in year ago period.
Other Income grew by 19.64 per cent at Rs 9.38 crore versus (Dec'19 Rs 7.84 crore). Operating Profit surged by 46.24 per cent to Rs 50.22 crore as against Rs 34.34 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 34.23 per cent in December quarter. Interest grew by 180.56 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.01 crore, while Taxation increased by 44.92 per cent at Rs 14.42 crore (Dec'19 Rs 9.95 crore).
