The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 31.49 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 50.15 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 37.21 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 22.73 per cent at Rs 122.88 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 100.12 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 29.24 per cent to Rs 79.60 crore from Rs 61.59 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 77.70 per cent at Rs 7.36 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 33.01 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 12.33 per cent to Rs 43.28 crore as against Rs 38.53 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 8.50 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 40.00 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.03 crore, while Taxation decreased by 16.08 per cent at Rs 13.15 crore (Mar'20 Rs 15.67 crore).
