The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 65.64 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 100.42 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year decline of 34.63 per cent. Net revenue of the company declined marginally by 1.46 per cent at Rs 222.43 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 225.73 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 2.22 per cent to Rs 161.03 crore from Rs 157.54 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 54.69 per cent at Rs 29.52 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 65.15 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 9.96 per cent to Rs 61.40 crore as against Rs 68.19 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 8.64 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 27.23 per cent y-o-y to Rs 3.10 crore, while Taxation decreased by 34.05 per cent at Rs 14.37 crore (Mar'21 Rs 21.79 crore).
