Bharat Rasayan declines on reporting 13% fall in Q2 consolidated net profit

Bharat Rasayan is currently trading at Rs. 10400.00, down by 66.15 points or 0.63% from its previous closing of Rs. 10466.15 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 10467.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 10470.00 and Rs. 10326.60 respectively.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 14362.90 on 22-Apr-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 9482.75 on 29-Nov-2021.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 11440.00 and Rs. 10300.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4335.27 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.99%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 2.89% and 22.11% respectively.

Bharat Rasayan reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2022.

The company has reported fall of 14.29% in its net profit at Rs 23.04 crore for Q2FY23 as compared to Rs 26.88 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 8.95% to Rs 296.20 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 271.87 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported fall of 13.37% in its net profit at Rs 22.93 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 26.47 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 8.95% to Rs 296.20 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 271.87 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.
