TECHNICAL OUTLOOK

* Benchmark index traded with negative bias before closing with 0.31% cut at 18643 level. Banking index traded in line with benchmark index as it closed with 0.45% cut at 43138 level.

* India VIX closed with 2.26% gain at 14.04 level.

* Among Sectors, PSU BANK index outperformed the benchmark index as it closed with 1.26% gain while IT and MEDIA underperformed the benchmark index as they closed with 1.45% and 1.02% cut respectively. Broader market traded in line with the benchmark index as both MIDCAP and SMALLCAP index closed with 0.53% and 0.32% cut respectively.

* Advance/Decline ratio was in favour of declines and cash turnover was lower than 5-day average. Both FII and DII both were net sellers in the cash segment

* European markets (DAX) and US markets (DJIA) closed lower yesterday. Asian Markets are largely trading lower today.

Intraday Market Outlook

* Benchmark index is likely to trade volatile today with support at 18550 - 18500 level and resistance at 18750 – 18800 level

* Banking index is likely to trade in line with benchmark index today with support at 42700 - 42500 level and resistance at 43600 - 43800 level.

* HINDUNILVR has closed above 21day EMA with bullish candlestick and it is likely to continue its positive momentum today as well
