Astra Microwave Products rises as its joint venture bags order worth Rs 158 crore

Astra Microwave Products is currently trading at Rs. 342.80, up by 3.35 points or 0.99% from its previous closing of Rs. 339.45 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 344.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 345.40 and Rs. 338.85 respectively. So far 35309 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 375.15 on 26-Aug-2022 and a 52 week low of Rs. 182.65 on 20-Jun-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 345.40 and Rs. 319.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3222.91 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 7.17%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 2.39% and 90.44% respectively.

Astra Microwave Products’ joint venture company (JVC) -- Astra Rafael Comsys has bagged Rs 158 crore worth of order from Defence Public Sector Undertaking (DPSU) for supply of Software Defined Radio (SDR).  

Earlier, the company had received an order from India Meteorological Department (IMD) for Supply of C-Band Dual Polarized SSPA based Doppler Weather Radars for a total value of Rs 32.97 crore. 

Astra Microwave Products (AMPL) designs, develops and manufactures sub-systems for RF and microwave systems used in defense, space, meteorology and telecommunication.
