Allcargo Logistics Q1 net profit zooms 163.73% at Rs 249.62 cr
The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 249.62 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2021 as compared to Rs 94.65 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 163.73 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 87.11 per cent at Rs 701.56 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 374.95 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 102.63 per cent to Rs 629.51 crore from Rs 310.67 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 163.60 per cent at Rs 210.72 crore versus (Jun'20 Rs 79.94 crore). Operating Profit surged by 12.09 per cent to Rs 72.05 crore as against Rs 64.28 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 40.08 per cent in June quarter. Interest declined by 48.55 per cent y-o-y to Rs 11.69 crore, while Taxation increased by 1417.13 per cent at Rs 47.68 crore (Jun'20 Rs -3.62 crore).
