Aegis Logistics Q4 net profit zooms 172.92% at Rs 94.02 cr
The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 94.02 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 34.45 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 172.92 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose marginally by 3.12 per cent at Rs 242.73 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 235.38 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 10.35 per cent to Rs 190.41 crore from Rs 212.40 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 125.88 per cent at Rs 63.72 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 28.21 crore). Operating Profit surged by 127.68 per cent to Rs 52.32 crore as against Rs 22.98 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 120.80 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 18.53 per cent y-o-y to Rs 4.22 crore, while Taxation increased by 758.24 per cent at Rs 7.81 crore (Mar'20 Rs 0.91 crore).
