Sandur M & I Ore Q4 net profit zooms 133.08% at Rs 45.73 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 45.73 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2020 as compared to Rs 19.62 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 133.08 per cent. Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 11.74 per cent at Rs 119.55 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 135.45 crore in the corresponding period last year. During January-March quarter, operating expenses dropped by 20.82 per cent to Rs 92.17 crore from Rs 116.40 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 127.76 per cent at Rs -2.82 crore versus (Mar'19 Rs 10.16 crore). Operating Profit surged by 43.73 per cent to Rs 27.38 crore as against Rs 19.05 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 62.87 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 11.43 per cent y-o-y to Rs 1.86 crore, while Taxation decreased by 640.11 per cent at Rs -28.68 crore (Mar'19 Rs 5.31 crore).
