Life Insurance Corporation of India lists with 8.62% discount on the BSE

Life Insurance Corporation of India has debuted at Rs 867.20 on the BSE, down by 81.8 points or 8.62% from its issue price of Rs 949.

The scrip is currently trading at Rs 902.95, down by 46.05 points or 4.85% from its issue price. It has touched a high and low of Rs 904.00 and Rs 860.10 respectively. So far 7.60 lakh shares were traded on the counter.

The offering, which was open for subscription between May 04, 2022 and May 09, 2022 was subscribed 2.95 times. The issue price was fixed at Rs 949 per share i.e. at upper end of price band of Rs 902-949 apiece.

Life Insurance Corporation, popularly known as LIC is Indian state-owned insurance group and investment company.
