ABB Power Products Q4 net profit jumps 54.90% at Rs 54.96 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 54.96 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2020 as compared to Rs 35.48 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 54.90 per cent. Net revenue of the company declined by 5.30 per cent at Rs 1,043.61 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,102.06 crore in the corresponding period last year. During October-December quarter, operating expenses dropped by 2.93 per cent to Rs 972.06 crore from Rs 1,001.36 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 50.00 per cent at Rs 0.11 crore versus (Dec'19 Rs 0.22 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 37.36 per cent to Rs 71.55 crore as against Rs 114.22 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 33.78 per cent in December quarter. Interest declined by 66.88 per cent y-o-y to Rs 5.60 crore, while Taxation increased by 214.81 per cent at Rs 20.62 crore (Dec'19 Rs 6.55 crore).
