टाटा पावर ने बुधवार को चालू वित्तवर्ष की जुलाई-सितंबर तिमाही में शुद्ध लाभ 8.8 प्रतिशत बढ़कर 1,017 करोड़ रुपये होने की घोषणा की, जबकि पिछले साल की समान अवधि में शुद्ध लाभ 935 करोड़ रुपये था।

कंपनी ने कहा कि उसने जाम्बिया में अपने पनबिजली संयंत्र की टैरिफ समस्या का समाधान कर लिया है और उसे जाम्बिया बिजली आपूर्ति निगम से 10.2 करोड़ डॉलर के लंबित बकाए का कुछ हिस्सा मिल गया है।

टाटा पावर का स्वच्छ ऊर्जा पोर्टफोलियो दूसरी तिमाही के दौरान 5,500 मेगावाट तक विस्तारित हो गया है और अब यह इसकी कुल स्थापित उत्पादन क्षमता का 38 प्रतिशत है।
