Below is Perspective on Knight Frank-FICCI-NAREDCO Real Estate Sentiment Index Q2 2021 report by Mr. Ram Raheja, Director, S Raheja Realty

‘’The report reflects a positive sentiment towards Q2, 2021 (April– June 2021) with demand cycles moving and restoration of the economic activities across the country. Also, a gradual shift in buying patterns has been witnessed where residential buyers are looking for additional space to meet ‘work from home’ purposes. The real estate sector has seen a strong bounce-back during the last few quarters, which has kept the future sentiment of stakeholders in the optimistic zone. With a better understanding of the pandemic, real estate stakeholders' preparedness in 2021 has helped to mitigate the severity of the economic ramification, showing some level of positive outlook among the stakeholders. The realty sector is prepared to combat foreseeable future challenges and it expects to record a strong growth number in the next three quarters, provided there is no third wave. With the ongoing trends and increased demand, the real estate sector is expected to end the year on a high note.’’
