Coforge posts Q2 net loss of Rs 45.40 cr

The company reported standalone net loss during the quarter stood at Rs 45.40 crore compared to net profit of Rs 44.60 crore in the previous year quarter. Net revenue of the company declined substantially by 87.64 per cent at Rs 75.20 crore in July-September quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 608.40 crore in the corresponding period last year. During July-September quarter, operating expenses dropped by 94.15 per cent to Rs 31.20 crore from Rs 533.00 crore in year ago period.
Other Income dipped by 1631.25 per cent at Rs -73.50 crore versus (Sep'20 Rs 4.80 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 41.64 per cent to Rs 44.00 crore as against Rs 75.40 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 372.24 per cent in September quarter. Interest grew by 147.37 per cent y-o-y to Rs 4.70 crore, while Taxation increased by 33.70 per cent at Rs 12.30 crore (Sep'20 Rs 9.20 crore).
