Shares of Reliance Industries rose over 3 per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange after media reported that Telecom tribunal TDSAT today deferred hearing on Reliance Jio free-offer case to May 3. Cheering the news, shares of the company gained as much as 3.03 per cent to hit intra-day high of Rs 1411.00 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The scrip was currently trading at Rs 1410.00 against previous close price of Rs 1369.40. In a similar fashion, stocks of company were trading 2.83 per cent higher at Rs 1,408.30 apiece on the National Stock Exchange. Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 29,484.95, up 62.56 points or 0.21 per cent, at 11:35 hour.
