Shares of Max Financial Services tumbled over 5 per cent on the Bombay Stock Exchange amid spurt in volume trade.
According to data available with exchange, as much as 1.3 crore shares traded in 2 block deals at Rs 622-625 per share. Weighed down by block deals, shares of the company declined as much as 5.49 per cent to hit intra-day low of Rs 615.00 apiece on the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The scrip was currently trading at Rs 636.60 against previous close price of Rs 650.75. In a similar fashion, stocks of company were trading 1.53 per cent lower at Rs 641.00 apiece on the National Stock Exchange.
Meanwhile, the broader benchmark BSE Sensex was trading at 29,484.95, up 62.56 points or 0.21 per cent, at 11:35 hour.
