Centum trades jubilantly on signing strategic alliance with Israel based Rafael

Centum Electronics is currently trading at Rs. 631.40, up by 35.65 points or 5.98% from its previous closing of Rs. 595.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 601.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 634.90 and Rs. 601.55 respectively. So far 6291 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 659.20 on 24-Dec-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 390.00 on 07-Mar-2022.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 634.90 and Rs. 566.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 808.39 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 58.80%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.87% and 34.33% respectively.

Centum Electronics has entered into a strategic partnership with Israel headquartered Rafael Advanced Defense Systems. As part of the MoU, both the companies will collaborate in the field of Electronic Warfare systems for the Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guards. The MoU envisages development and indigenous production of the futuristic light weight Electronic Warfare systems in lower frequency bands and life cycle support of the existing Electronic Warfare systems.

This MoU will enhance Centum’s indigenous Electronic Warfare system design and manufacturing capabilities through Rafael’s decades of experience in lower frequency band Electronic Warfare system. This exclusive collaboration is likely to generate significant revenues over next three to five years.

Centum Electronics is basically engaged in designing and manufacturing of advanced electronics systems, subsystems, and components.
