* The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were, Utilities was up by 0.45%, Oil & Gas was up by 0.61%, FMCG was up by 0.86%, Telecom was up by 1.69%, Energy was up by 1.23%, Realty was up by 1.59%, and Capital Goods was up by 1.23%, were top lossing indices were on BSE.

* There were Tech Mahindra was up by 4.06%, HDFC was up by 2.99%, Infosys was up by 2.74%, Bajaj Finserv was up by 2.22%, and Bharti Airtel was up by 2.02%, the top gainers were on the Sensex.

* There were Bajaj Auto was down by 3.04%, TATA Steel was down by 0.93%, AXIS Bank was down by 0.36%, NTPC was down by 0.29%, and Power Grid was down by 0.11%, the top losers were on the Sensex. 

* The CNX Nifty ended at 18,102.75 up by 229.15 points or 1.28% after trading in a range of 18,123.00 and 17,905.90. There were 43 stocks advancing and 7 stocks declining
