Doha (Qatar), November 21 (ANI): As FIFA World Cup 2022 began in Qatar, the football fever reached a new high around the globe. The sensational soccer state is being felt throughout, be it 32 countries actually eyeing glory or the countries only eyeing their TV screens, i.e. India. Still under-represented in the most-played sport around the globe, India has never played in the FIFA World Cup. The Indian national football never managed to play the World Cup however, once qualified back in 1950. Commenting on the same, All India Football Federation President Kalyan Chaubey said, “I want the Indian football fans to make their presence known in the world. We want the Indian team to play in the WC too. If a systematic training system is introduced, then it will not be hard for the Indian team to play the WC.”
