Tumours are composed of a variety of cell types, both benign and malignant. The specific complexity of the cells found inside of brain tumours is one distinctive aspect of the disorder that makes therapy extremely difficult. According to a new study, experts have long believed that the many distinct types of cells found in a brain tumour are static, immovable, and generally fixed. The journal's findings were disseminated in ‘Nature Communications’. However, scientists at the Rogel Cancer Centre and University of Michigan Department of Neurosurgery have shown that these aggressive tumours contain highly active cells that travel throughout the tissue in intricate patterns.
