Mumbai: Director Rajkumar Santoshi’s much-awaited movie ‘Gandhi Godse - Ek Yudh’ is slated to release on January 26. The movie’s song ‘Vaishnav Jan’ was launched in Mumbai. AR Rahman, Rajkumar Santoshi, Vasu Bhagnani and Jacky Bhagnani were present at the launch. The movie has sparked much controversy in the nation. It focuses on the conflicting ideologies of Mahatma Gandhi and Nathuram Godse which led to the assassination of Gandhiji in 1948. However, how much justice the movie does to the complex issue would only come to the fore after its release.
