J&K Sports Council organises Asia`s first longest Ultra-Cycling Race in Srinagar

?Srinagar : Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council organised Asia’s first longest Ultra-Cycling Race on March 01. Starting from Srinagar, the cycle race will culminate in Kanyakumari, the southern tip of the Indian Peninsula. Passing through the longest highway in India, the cyclists will get a chance to travel through 12 Indian States, 3 important metropolises, and more than 20 important cities.The cut-off time for solo, team of two, and team of four cyclists are 12 days, 10 days, and 8 days respectively. Each rider is allotted with crew and support vehicles to help them to finish the race.
The cycle race is recognised by World Ultra Cycling Association, USA and declared as the Asian Ultra Cycling Championship and World Ultra Cycling Championship.
