Amid coronavirus outbreak, the International Air Transport Association (IATA) indicated worsening impact in Asia Pacific region. IATA released analysis showing that COVID-19 crisis will lead to drop in global airline passenger revenues by US$ 314 billion in 2020 which is 55% declined, if compared to 2019. Airlines in Asia Pacific will see the largest revenue drop of US$ 113 billion in 2020 compared to 2019. The estimates are based on scenario of severe travel restrictions lasting for three months all over the world. A total of 2.71 million positive cases of coronavirus cases have been reported worldwide so far.
