The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 44.33 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2021 as compared to Rs 1.24 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 3475.00 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 27.51 per cent at Rs 413.37 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 324.19 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 6.12 per cent to Rs 311.76 crore from Rs 293.77 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 7200.00 per cent at Rs 4.38 crore versus (Mar'20 Rs 0.06 crore).
Operating Profit surged by 234.02 per cent to Rs 101.61 crore as against Rs 30.42 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 162.05 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 43.86 per cent y-o-y to Rs 7.82 crore, while Taxation increased by 15908.33 per cent at Rs 19.21 crore (Mar'20 Rs 0.12 crore).
