Sanofi India Q4 net profit up 26.41% at Rs 123.00 cr
The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 123.00 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2020 as compared to Rs 97.30 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 26.41 per cent. Net revenue of the company declined moderately by 12.83 per cent at Rs 720.30 crore in October-December quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 826.30 crore in the corresponding period last year. During October-December quarter, operating expenses dropped by 14.63 per cent to Rs 553.30 crore from Rs 648.10 crore in year ago period. Other Income dipped by 34.68 per cent at Rs 16.20 crore versus (Dec'19 Rs 24.80 crore). Operating Profit slipped by 6.29 per cent to Rs 167.00 crore as against Rs 178.20 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 7.46 per cent in December quarter. Interest grew by 33.33 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.40 crore, while Taxation decreased by 26.25 per cent at Rs 47.20 crore (Dec'19 Rs 64.00 crore). |
