Divi`s Laboratories Q4 net profit jumps 80.96% at Rs 882.96 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 882.96 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2022 as compared to Rs 487.93 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 80.96 per cent. Net revenue of the company rose substantially by 45.20 per cent at Rs 2,495.03 crore in January-March quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 1,718.39 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During January-March quarter, operating expenses increased by 37.29 per cent to Rs 1,399.06 crore from Rs 1,019.04 crore in year ago period. Other Income grew by 121.05 per cent at Rs 50.51 crore versus (Mar'21 Rs 22.85 crore). Operating Profit surged by 56.71 per cent to Rs 1,095.97 crore as against Rs 699.35 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) expanded year-on-year to 7.94 per cent in March quarter. Interest declined by 77.78 per cent y-o-y to Rs 0.04 crore, while Taxation increased by 11.25 per cent at Rs 182.73 crore (Mar'21 Rs 164.25 crore).
